About LitterLink

LitterLink is a platform built to help dogs stay connected to their biological families — and to help the people who love them share in that connection.

Inspired by a real dog named Theodore and the joy he experienced reconnecting with his own family, LitterLink exists to make those moments possible for dogs and owners everywhere, in a way that is safe, responsible, and built to last.

At its heart, LitterLink is about connection — between dogs, between owners, and across generations — supported by thoughtful record-keeping, shared participation, and respect for everyone involved.

Our mission is to ensure adopted dogs never lose connection with their biological families.

LitterLink helps dog owners discover, reconnect with, and stay connected to their dog's bloodline — including littermates, parents, and extended family — while sharing life milestones and stories along the way.

We believe dogs recognise family, seek familiarity, and benefit emotionally from maintaining those bonds, especially when connections are formed early, responsibly, and with the dog's wellbeing as the priority.

We also believe the history and lineage behind every litter matters and should be preserved with care and respect, much like we do for human families.

Got a litter code from your breeder? Here's all you need to do.

Register your dog through the dashboard
Say yes to having a unique letter code
Enter the code provided by your breeder
Select from the available gender spots
Give your dog a name
Register

A request will be sent to the breeder, who will finalise your connection as soon as possible.

No litter code? No problem.

No litter code? You can still find your litter
Start by registering your dog through the dashboard
When asked if you have a litter code — select No
Enter your dog's date of birth
Select your dog's breed — or breeds for mixed dogs
Have your breeder's email address? Enter it for a direct match
Know the kennel or organisation name? Add it to narrow your search
Have the postcode from where you adopted? Search by that
Know the breeder's name? Add it to find the right litter
No details at all? A broad search by state will surface possible matches
